FAQs

  • M-Eido is a software solution for implant compatibility management, inventory and usage tracking - designed for use in operating rooms and medical practices

  • M-Eido is mainly used by the operating room staff mainly circulators and surgeons, but also inventory managers, purchasing department and IT teams for integration and support.

  • Scan the QR code of the implant box. The system will automatically verify if it is compatible with the components that are already used.

    If you are unsure about specific combinations or manufacturer recommendations, you can also consult the uploaded manuals - all documents are stored in the system and searchable using the integrated AI assistant.

  • A warning is shown immidiately, helping prevent the use if mismatched parts before opering the sterile package.

    Therefore no waste is produced - the incompatible item can be returned to the storage.

  • M-Eido does not store direct patient information (name, birthdates, etc.)
    Instead, we use hospital-specific identifiers like patient ID and case number. This allows each institution to reassign data to the correct patient while maintaining full compliance with privacy and data protection.

  • Check the barcode’s readability and wether the scanner is properly connected.
    Most scanners have a reset code that can be scanned to restore the device to factory settings


    You can also enter the UDI per hand if the scanner can not be fixed fast enough.
